This is a large and heavy walker. It does pass through all the doors in Mom's older home. However, there is one constriction in the bathroom that she cannot pass easily, between the sink and the bathtub, forcing her to lift the walker 6" over a small lip. When buying a larger width walker like this, measure more than the doorways look for any constrictions along all walking paths. Mom loves the comfortable and sturdy seat as well. My wife made a set of ‘saddlebags’ for the walker for small items which are easily lost in the large pouch. The pouch is large enough for a small 2-3 hour oxygen bottle or the small portable oxygen concentrators on the market. This is great for outdoor sidewalks and yards, but not for really rough terrain with roots and large rocks like on mountain paths or across country.

This Helevo bariatric rollator was easy to put together, is very sturdy, and fits a large framed heavy person. I use it every day, and haven't found a better one than this. I recommend anyone who needs a good chair, or a walker in home or outside to get it. So comfy and safe! Worth every penny!

This is all and more it was shown and described to be. It has proven itself invaluable. My mother needed this, loves it!! It supports her weight and its upright design IS a game changer and an answer to back issues that can arise from the lower built rolling assistance device. Heavily constructed, selected the heavy duty roller and believe you me, it IS THAT!! It proves to be easily directed and supportive due to the heavier construction. The additional purchased ‘pads’ protect arms while supporting and knowing when you sit, you won’t drop, is safety in all caps! I was thrilled and note this to be a product that IS what it advertises to be. Thank you!!!

Active seniors needing a robust rollator for outdoor terrain, complementing models like the Winlove Heavy Duty Rollator Walker for Seniors

After a false start (the carry pouch had a snap pulled through), which was quickly and professionally cured, I love EVERYTHING about my rollator. It's big enough I can set the seat high, making it easy to get on and off, yet set the handle bars to the correct height (I'm only 5'10"). I'm a big guy, so I liked the extra width (yes, make sure it will go through your interior doors) and capacity (I didn't need 500 lb capacity, but it makes me comfortable having it), and built from steel rather than aluminum, will be around for years to come. I also like the extra big wheels, to go through the snow in the winter. The extra size, capacity and material do make it a bit heavier, so make sure you can pick it up. Easy to assemble, with built in cup holder and cane holder. Brakes lock solid. No complaints!

This rollator is extremely strong and well built. I love the extra wide seat and big wheels. It is well balanced and I never worry about tipping over. There is a roomy storage area under the seat for a nice picnic. Over hill, over dale we will hit the dusty trail with my functional hiking machine.

The height for people is incorrect. In one place, it says suitable for people 4'8"-6'3". In another place, it states 4'7"-6'2". I am 5'4" and on its lowest settings, it is still too tall for me to safely use and when I sat on the seat, my feet don't touch the ground. I do love the color and it is sturdy, but it's not safe. I'm going to try to return it.

Excellent quality, easy to assemble. I preferred more robust skis which I ordered separately. The walker moved over all surfaces more easily. Absolutely love the covers for the handles which are super soft and they only need some adjustment rarely. They really soften the grip for your hands especially if you bare a lot of weight on you hands.

Works pretty well for me even at the highest setting. The only gripe I have with it is the little felt pads that glued to the glides seem to have come off at some point, and I didn’t become aware of it until way afterwards. Doesn’t slide as well without those on it. Update: I should’ve also mentioned that sometimes the glides seem to spin around on the back and they even come off. That might be because I’m stepping on them I have rather large feet. I’ve definitely stepped On them a few times. In regards to the glide issues with the pads, the manufacturer set me out some extras so that resolve that issues. I am starting to notice that one of the sides does not fold in as easily as it used to, but I haven’t had any other problems with the walker. It seems rather stable and I’m a pretty big guy.

I am 5' 5" and if I were any shorter, I could not use this walker. They say the way to determine how tall the walker should be. The top (side) should hit the middle of your wrist. I had to put it on the lowest setting. Also, the skis they provided don't fit. They slide right out. The walker itself is amazing! It not only looks good (love the color) but it is super sturdy! I don't have to worry about it slipping. Even at over 325 pounds, I fit comfortably inside the two sides with room to spare. The walker fits through a normal doorway but there is little room on either side. It has two wheels on each of the front legs giving it more stability. It is not particularly heavy either despite the fact it will support up to 500 pounds!

Walker is nice and sturdy but you will want to measure your doorways for it doesn’t fit threw all doorways.

I like the wide size & high quality of walker. It would be a plus if it came with the carpet slides. Highly recommend this for larger people.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a heavy-duty walker?
A heavy-duty walker is a mobility aid designed for seniors or larger individuals, supporting up to 500 lbs with reinforced frames and wider designs for stability.
Can these walkers fit through standard doorways?
Most models (20.5”–29” wide) fit standard doorways, but measure your doorways, as wider models like the ELENKER Upright (29”) may struggle in narrow spaces.
Are these walkers suitable for outdoor use?
Walkers with larger wheels (8–10 inches), like the Helavo or ELENKER All-Terrain, excel on grass or gravel, while 5-inch wheel models (OasisSpace, Medline) are better for indoor use.
How do I adjust the walker for my height?
All models offer adjustable handle heights (31”–43.5”), set to align with your wrist when standing naturally. Check specific ranges for each model.
Are these walkers easy to fold and store?
Yes, all models feature foldable designs, with OasisSpace and Medline being the lightest (7.5–8.5 lbs) for easy storage and transport.
What if the walker’s accessories (e.g., skis) don’t work well?
Some users report issues with skis or glides (e.g., OasisSpace). Contact the manufacturer for replacements or consider aftermarket accessories for better performance.
